One of the region’s top manufacturing companies recently acquired a local company that specializes in epoxy coating services. The acquisition adds another subsidiary to the manufacturer’s services as well as more employees.
FC Industries, a family-owned group of manufacturing companies headquartered in Dayton, acquired Miamisburg Coating in a recent deal. Miamisburg Coating specializes in epoxy coating services for couplers and accessories used in the concrete construction industry. Epoxy is most often used as a rust preventative coating on rebar for construction projects.
While terms of the deal were not disclosed, this acquisition includes a 15,000-square-foot warehouse at 925 N. Main St. in Miamisburg, as well as six employees.
As part of the acquisition, Miamisburg Coating has been rebranded as MC Coating Inc. and joins four other subsidiaries owned by FC Industries, including AFC Tool Company Inc., AFCS Inc., BarSplice Products Inc., and Dayton Precision Aerospace Inc.
